Our Background.
Mologic has, when you add it up, hundreds of years’ experience in applying the fundamental research behind diagnostic development for healthcare. That’s a lot of hard graft in industry and academia, and that’s the foundation of our successes.
From Farm to Fork, Mologic can support you in development of rapid, simple, easy to use, low cost tests which can inform and drive disease management decisions.
First to bring to your field is Botrytis Alert.
Our first crop pathogen diagnostic test.

We understand that in Agriculture, profit margins are narrow with a ‘zero-tolerance’ of disease expression. As part of an Innovate UK funded initiative, we have been trialling Botrytis Alert with Berry Garden Growers. Using spore sampling devices our consortium tested crop bioaerosols for Botrytis to drive early warning of disease potential on exposed crops. In soft fruit, the test has been used to identify Botrytis infection potential, guide the timed application of control treatments, inform quality and drive crop post-harvest management decisions. Our research is advancing towards extending the portfolio of innovative agricultural diagnostic devices, so look out for Mologic!

Mologic has a great history of working with academics, institutions and industry. An Innovate Agri-tech grant with Berry Garden Growers, NIAB EMR and Warwickshire College Group (Pershore) has enabled us to develop a suite of low cost, easy to use lateral flow tests to help support prevention of disease and manage post-harvest soft fruit losses.
